Monmouth Medical Center Worker Beats Coronavirus, Gets Applause

LONG BRANCH, NJ — A Monmouth Medical Center employee beat the new coronavirus, the hospital announced. Her coworkers formed two lines and clapped her out as she left the hospital.

Monmouth Medical Center wishes her well on her continued recovery.

State officials have reported 7,210 current hospitalizations and 745 people discharged for the coronavirus around New Jersey.

Monmouth County officials have reported 4,947 cases as of Wednesday afternoon, including 287 in Long Branch.
