Monroe County sheriff's deputy faces charges following disturbance at Parma residence
A Monroe County sheriff's deputy is facing charges in connection with a disturbance at a residence in Parma on Saturday.
Evonne Kushner, 37, of Hilton, has been charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from reports of a disturbance that took place at a residence on Burritt Road in Parma around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Brendan Hurley.
No other information was immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing, Hurley said.
Kushner, a sergeant assigned to the jail bureau, has been placed on administrative duties outside of the jail during the investigation.
