Meanwhile, Norwalk also went 2-3 at the tournament. The Truckers topped Berea Midpark (47-33) and Northview (60-17). Along with the one-point loss to Monroeville, Norwalk fell to Toledo St. John's (45-32) and Perrysburg (59-18).

Aldynn Metzger (106) went 5-0 with four pins and one major decision to pace the Truckers. Gavin Lepley (132) finished 3-2 with a pair of losses to state-ranked opponents, including a defending state champion from Div. I Perrysburg.

"We wrestled OK today," Norwalk head coach Erich Metzger said. "Some good some bad. Aldynn and Gavin really impressed me. We really need some of our veterans to step up and perform at the level they are capable of going into that back half of the season.

"All and all, it was a pretty good weekend for Norwalk wrestling."
