The Monster High 2 First Look Is Here
After the, well, monster success of Monster High: The Movie, it was no surprise that a second film was greenlit. It came as a big surprise, however, when the cast of the sequel dropped a first look at the upcoming film during the 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards.
During the ceremony, Miia Harris, Nayah Damasen, Ceci Balagot, and Case Walker appeared and revealed some very exciting news: they had just wrapped filming the follow-up.
“The boos are back,” said Balagot, who stars as nonbinary teen Frankie Stein. “In a brand new Monster High movie coming this fall.”
“We just wrapped filming and are so, so proud of this movie. We had the best time making it, and we can’t wait for all of you monsters to see it!” added Harris, who stars as Clawdeen Wolf.
“We know it’s a little early, but we just have to show you a sneak peek,” shared Balagot.
The sneak peek teases a new year for the Monster High students, which of course means new songs, dance numbers, and maybe even some romances. There’s also a new threat that is briefly teased by someone looking into a crystal ball at the students and declaring “it’s time.” Spooky!
