Montenegro endorses Ukraine’s NATO bid

“Another result of this day is that we have a new declaration of support for the Euro-Atlantic course of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.

“This is the third such declaration. Today we signed it with Montenegro."

Earlier, similar declarations have been signed with the Czech Republic and Belgium.

“Step by step, we will walk this path — we will garner majority Euro-Atlantic support in our favor,” the president added.

“And not just in words, but in decisions. In decisions to support us joining the collective security system.”

On Oct. 31, a similar declaration was supported by the Czech Republic and signed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala. During his visit to Kyiv on Nov. 26, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo signed a declaration in support of Ukraine's EU and NATO membership.
