Montevideo, Minnesota, woman injured after vehicle strikes power pole

, Minnesota, woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a reported single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 212.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol's

accident report

, the crash occurred around 8 a.m. Wednesday near mile marker 43 on Highway 212 in Stony Run Township, within

Yellow Medicine County.

Lou Ann Williamson, 59, was identified as the driver of a 2016 Lincoln MKX traveling eastbound on Highway 212 when it left the roadway and struck a power pole, according to the report.

The airbags in the vehicle deployed. No other occupants were in the vehicle.

Williamson was transported to the Avera Granite Falls Health Center for treatment of injuries.

According to the report, Williamson was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. Alcohol was not involved and road conditions were reported as dry.
