Montgomery County Opens 6 Walk-Up Coronavirus Test Sites

Montgomery County on Monday opened six additional walk-up coronavirus testing sites that offer testing for COVID-19 at no cost.

The testing sites are available to people of all ages without a prescription or insurance. Residents can begin making appointments for testing at 8:30 a.m. each day.

Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh urged all residents to get tested, writing: “The more we test, the more we know about what is happening in our community as we live with this virus for the foreseeable future.”

The testing sites are available as follows:

  • Pottstown — Montgomery County Office of Public Health, 364 King Street

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 2 p.m.

    • Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.

  • Lansdale — 421 Main Street

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.

    • Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.

  • Willow Grove — Montgomery County Office of Public Health, 102 York Road

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 2 p.m.

    • Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.

  • Green Lane – Deep Creek and Snyder Road

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.

    • Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.

  • Ardmore – 114 W. Lancaster Avenue

  • Norristown – Delaware Valley Community Health Center at the Norristown Regional Health Center at 1401 Dekalb Street

    • This site will open on Tuesday, July 7. Hours of operation will be announced in the coming days.

To set up an appointment to get tested, residents should visit the Montgomery County website and select “County Testing” at the top of the page.

Testing appointments can also be scheduled over the phone by calling 610-970-2937. Residents can call starting at 8:30 a.m. on the day in which they hope to be tested.
