Montgomery man dies in hospital four days after car crash

A single-vehicle car crash has claimed the life of a 30-year-old Montgomery man, four days after the collision.

Al Jahara Hebrew was a passenger in the crash that killed him. The initial collision happened Friday in the area of Madison Avenue near Hall Street, Maj. Saba Coleman said. First responders took Hebrew to the hospital, where he died Tuesday.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the crash at about 1:20 a.m. There, they found a man who crashed a 2024 Nissan Altima and received injuries that authorities described as not life-threatening.

Officers are investigating the collision, Coleman said in the email.
