Montgomery man stabbed to death

A 42-year-old Montgomery man died after being stabbed early Wednesday morning, police said.

An unknown suspect stabbed Terence Lawson in the 1700 block of South Holt Street, MPD said. Montgomery officers and fire medics responded to the stabbing at about 2:40 a.m.

They located Lawson and transported him to the hospital, where he later died, according to the news release.

Police did not immediately release any further information. There have been 24 homicides this year.

Officers are asking anyone with information related to the stabbing to call CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP, the Secret Witness Line at 334-625-4000 or the police department at 334-625-2831.
