Montgomery police investigate fatal shooting early Monday

Montgomery police are investigating a homicide from an early Monday morning shooting.

At about 3:15 a.m., officers and fire medics went to a local hospital after a person, wounded by gunfire, was taken there by private vehicle, said Maj. Saba Coleman, a spokeswoman for the MPD.  Rondarius McQueen, 22, of Montgomery, had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound and was pronounced dead.

Police determined that the shooting occurred in the 100 block of Folmar Parkway.

Police have released a photo of a man they’re seeking in connection to the shooting. They’ve asked anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP, Secret Witness at 625-4000, or MPD at 625-2831.
