DELRAY BEACH — The city’s monthly wellness market is moving.

Coco Market, a day-long event offering its guests interactive activities, healing services and access to local businesses, will now be hosted at the city’s Old School Square, the Downtown Development Authority announced.

For the past two years, its home was Veterans Park. The shift comes as construction continues near Veterans Park.

The next time to catch one is this Sunday, Nov. 12. Here’s what else you should know:

What is Delray Beach’s Coco Market?

The monthly wellness market was created to build community within the city and foster new connections. It does so through events featuring it all: Healing classes, healing modalities, workshops and shopping from local curated vendors.

Healing classes at Coco Market consist of yoga, meditation and sound baths with musicians. Available modalities include spinal adjustments, cupping therapy sessions, massages and inner energy work. And vendors can offer anything from aromatherapy to reworked clothing and elderberry elixirs.

There’s food, too. Small local restaurants attend, as do pop-up food vendors. Vegan options are available.

Can I bring my kids to Coco Market?

Coco Market is family friendly. Pets are included in the mix, too. Its site invites visitors to bring their kids, parents and siblings.

“There is something for all ages at every Coco Market,” the page reads. “And you'll find people of all ages when you attend.”

The market, produced by “The Coco Yogi” Corey Heyman, a yoga teacher based in Downtown Delray, is free and open to the public.

“I’m really looking forward to Coco Market’s move to Old School Square,” Heyman said. “Old School Square is the city center in Delray Beach and the move is going to bring the community together in an even bigger way with more space, more parking and more vendors.”
