Months of lane closures on routes 413, 611 beginning Tuesday for PECO work

A handful of PECO utility imporvements will ring in 2024 with lane closures on two main highways in Bedminster and Plumstead until early April, PennDOT announced Friday.

Weekday lane closures are planned on Route 413 (Durham Road) and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Bedminster and Plumstead, along with other nearby closures on Creek Road in Bedminster and Wismer Road in Plumstead.

The utility work, expected to end on April 1, comes as a handful of other ongoing projects across Bucks County wrapped up at the end of 2023.

Here's a breakdown of how that and other projects will impact your commute at the start of 2024.

All projects are being done weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are weather-dependent unless otherwise noted.

What road projects start this week in Bucks County?

  • PECO utility work closes a lane on Route 413 (Durham Road) between Dark Hollow Road and Stump Road in Bedminster and Plumstead townships until April 1.

  • That same project also closes a lane on Route 611 (Easton Road) between Quarry and Spruce Hill roads and on Creek Road between Quarry and Wismer roads in Bedminster Township

  • PECO crews will also have a lane closure on Wismer Road between Stump and Point Pleasant roads in Plumsead.

  • A stormwater replacement will close a lane on Route 213 (Maple Avenue) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way in Middletown Township from Tuesday until Friday.

What road projects are continuing this week in Bucks County?

  • Crews continue a two-year project installing roundabouts where Easton Road intersects with New Britain/Sauerman roads, near Triangle Park, in Doylestown Township. Work lasts from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays until the project's expected completion in April 2026. between Park Road and Chestnut Lane.
