Montrose roundabout landscaping starts Monday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The City of Montrose Public Works department started landscaping work on the Ogden and Woodgate roundabout Monday.

City of Montrose Parks and Special Projects Superintendent Daniel Payne said in a press release the roundabout will need to be closed periodically to allow equipment and supply transportation to the site.

Payne also says drivers using the roundabout should exercise caution while passing through the intersection or consider an alternative route.

The landscaping work is expected to be completed by mid-December, and the city will release traffic and work updates as they become available.
