Nearly 230,000 people have already claimed prizes on the Massachusetts Lottery’s new $50 scratch ticket.

The “Billion Dollar Extravaganza” instant ticket, which includes three top prizes of $25 million, debuted earlier this month. Other prizes up for grabs include five $2 million prizes and 15 $1 million prizes.

Five people have claimed prizes worth $50,000, 56 people have claimed prizes worth $20,000, 58 people have claimed prizes worth $10,000, 220 people have claimed prizes worth $5,000, and 831 people have claimed prizes worth $1,000, according to the Lottery.

All of the other prizes claimed on winning tickets are between $100 and $500.

None of the $25 million, $2 million, or $1 million prizes have been claimed.

About 30.2 million Billion Dollar Extravaganza tickets will be printed and the odds of winning a prize in the new game are said to be 1 in 4.10, according to the Lottery.

Billion Dollar Extravaganza presents players with the best chance to win $500 and $1,000 prizes in the history of the Massachusetts Lottery, and all winning tickets total $100 or more, officials noted.

The game also features 10 second-chance drawings, allowing players to enter non-winning tickets for opportunities to win cash prizes ranging from $100 to $50,000. In each of the 10 drawings, 15 $50,000 prizes, 10 $1,000 prizes, 75 $500 prizes, and 300 $100 prizes will be awarded.
