Is dry weather around the corner after months of rain? If so, Sacramento-area residents will step out to plenty of new restaurants.

At least 28 restaurants opened around the Sacramento region in March, from an East Sacramento cafe with a Southern bend to a Brazilian-style steakhouse in El Dorado County.

Four restaurants opened in Roseville, three in Folsom and Davis and two in Carmichael and Elk Grove. Granite Bay, Rancho Cordova, Diamond Springs, Placerville, Auburn, Fair Oaks and El Dorado Hills each added one apiece.
