2020 was a year of historic firsts, with more African American women seeking election, winning primary races and getting voted into Congress than ever before. Weekend TODAY’s Kristen Welker speaks with Missouri Rep. Cori Bush and Higher Heights for America President Glynda Carr, who say there is still much to be done as they work toward building a government that looks like the people it represents.
