More businesses are expanding in Menomonee Falls.

JAX Inc. and Marian Milwaukee both have recently begun expanding in the village. Keiding Inc. is planning to open a second location in the village.

JAX Inc.

Construction is underway for JAX Inc., a 130,899-square-foot building on Manhardt Drive in the southeastern part of the village.

About 31,000 square feet will be dedicated two a two-story office. The remainder of the space will be used for warehouse, production and a receiving area.

The expansion will also increase the number of parking stalls from 36 to 51 and its workforce from 33 to 48 full-time employees.

Marian Milwaukee

Construction is also underway for a 17,857-square-foot expansion for Marian Milwaukee, a die-cutting company, according to village documents.

Marian Milwaukee currently leases two buildings from The Real Kuehn Group Inc. The expansion essentially connects the two existing buildings, said Matt Carran, the village's director of community development.

A timeline for completion has not been set yet for either company.

"The (Marian Milwaukee) addition will allow the company to operate more efficiently," said Carran. With the expansion, at N51 W13251 Brahm Court, the company expects to hire 10 additional employees, said Carran.

"These expansions show these companies are happy with the community, the workers, and they are choosing to stay in Menomonee Falls," said Carran.

Keiding Inc.

Another company expansion announced earlier this summer is Keiding Inc. The Milwaukee-based manufacturing facility is opening a second location in Menomonee Falls at N90 W14507 Commerce Drive.

The new plant is expected to create 20 jobs at a 58,000-square-foot facility, according to a Keiding news release. The facility was previously home to Nova Technology International.

Keiding, a manufacturer in the custom design of sustainable molded pulp products for protective packaging, has been a Milwaukee company since 1939.
