More Dutch Bros Coffee locations headed to town — one in Clovis soon, one in Fresno later

The influx of chain coffee giants into the Fresno area continues.

Not only does Starbucks have numerous locations in the works, Dutch Bros Coffee has several new drive-thrus coming.

The company appears to be moving ahead with plans to build a location at the Marketplace at El Paseo, the shopping center with Target at Highway 99 and Herndon Avenue.

New Dutch Bros in Fresno

Several permit applications — including commercial, grading and more — have been filed with the City of Fresno.

Plans call for it to be built at 6617 Riverside Dr., which would be a stand-alone outbuilding, south of Five Guys Burgers & Fries.

The 1,190-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop would have a covered patio and two lanes for cars.

The popular drive-thrus often attract lines, though they move relatively quickly. The menu features drinks ranging from blended espresso-based dessert-like concoctions to hot or iced teas and beverages made with its Rebel brand of energy drinks.

It’s not clear when it would open. Construction has not started and the company declined to comment on future locations. The permits are still awaiting approval.

Clovis Dutch Bros

But Dutch Bros does have a new drive-thru coming soon: in Clovis.

The location at the northeast corner of Willow and Alluvial avenues is getting closer to opening.

The company is hiring “broistas” now.

The Dutch Bros will be on the end of the building that Marco’s Pizza is in, north of the Arco gas station.

No grand opening date has been announced yet. The company is referring customers to its Instagram account for future opening date announcements.
