More jobs coming to ENC with new manufacturing plant in U.S. 70 West Industrial Park
A new manufacturing plant in Kinston is currently hiring for various positions within its company, looking to fill 100 jobs from those who are searching for a new career in the area.
RECO NC, in association with Lenoir Community College and N.C. Works will be holding a hiring event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the college, located at 231 N.C. 58 South in Kinston.
The company is looking for maintenance technicians, maintenance engineers, team leaders, production supervisors, machine operators, quality specialists and material handlers.

Crystal Hill, office manager, said the company is just beginning its hiring process and have hired 9 employees to date. They are expected to hire more than 100 workers at the new plant specializing in the production of dishwasher baskets.
"We definitely have a long way to go. Starting pay ranges anywhere from $14 to $32 per hour depending on the position and experience," Hill said. "There are open positions for both first and second shift. We are expecting to bring people on as early as Oct. 1."

First shift hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Second shift is 3:30 to 11:30 p.m.
"I don't want people who cannot make the job fair feel like they are out of the running," Hill said. "They are more than welcome to contact me via email to submit an application."
RECO NC is a new 200,000 sq. feet facility located at 1875 Smithfield Way in Kinston. It will host 110 new workers over the next five years, with an average wage of the new jobs at $39,854.
The company will supply dishwasher baskets to major appliance manufacturers including Electrolux in Kinston.
