The National Weather Service in Memphis is tracking more severe weather that is expected to roll through the Mid-South Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

The weather service is expecting wind gusts upward of 60 miles per hour, ping-pong-ball sized hail, possible tornados, heavy rain and possible flash flooding to start in the central region of Arkansas and parts of lower Missouri Tuesday night.

Memphis, and parts of West Tennessee are at a "marginal" risk Tuesday night, but an enhanced risk is expected to move into East Arkansas and West Tennessee early Wednesday morning. NWS Memphis predicts that weather will stick around through Wednesday's evening hours.

The severe weather comes days after tornados ravaged the region, leaving 15 dead in five Tennessee counties, four in Wynne, Arkansas, and one in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.

NWS Memphis said its survey crews determined three EF3, which is a tornado with wind speeds ranging from 136 to 165 mph, tornadoes touched down in Covington and Adamsville, Tennessee and Wynne, Arkansas Friday. On Monday, an NWS crew from Jackson, Mississippi, confirmed an EF1 tornado hit near the Eudora area in southwestern DeSoto County.

The tornadoes across the Mid South left thousands without power, and came a week after tornadoes devastated parts of Mississippi, leaving at least 23 dead.
