Morgan Choir, jazz band to perform at Monterey Jazz Festival

Morgan State University students will perform at one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in the world. The university announced Friday that its choir and jazz band ensemble was invited to perform at the 65th annual Monterey Jazz Festival, the longest continuously running jazz festival. The MSU Choir and the MSU Jazz Band Ensemble are scheduled to perform and engage with award-winning artists in exclusive workshops during the three-day festival taking place Sept. 23 to 25 in California.
