Morgan sheriff's administrative office closed because of flu

Oct. 31—The Morgan County sheriff's administrative office will be closed until Wednesday because of several cases of the flu leaving the office understaffed, the department said.

Eight of the administrative team contracted the flu, including the sheriff and all the clerk's office staff, according to department spokesman Mike Swafford.

The closure will not affect the law enforcement divisions or the jail.

Many office services can still be accessed at morgancountysheriffal.gov.
