Morgan Wallen announced the release of his sweet tea Thursday and it sold out in no time, but he isn't alone when it comes to musicians dipping their toes into the world of drinks.

The country star and beverage company Ryl Tea have come together to release Wallen’s Ryl Sweet Tea – a drink inspired by Wallen’s childhood summers in Tennessee, the company said in a news release to USA TODAY.

“Ryl Tea and I worked hard to capture the sweet tea taste I remember from my childhood,” Wallen said in the release. “This tea takes me right back to my Mamaw’s front porch on a hot summer’s day.”

Wallen added his name to a long list of singers and other celebrities that own, have a stake or have done a major collaboration in the beverage world over the years. The list of names includes everyone from George Clooney to Lil Wayne.

Maybe your favorite musician or celebrity is behind your beverage of choice.

Wallen and Ryl Tea have been developing the drink for six months to “ensure it meets the highest standards of taste, health and authenticity,” the company said.

"Morgan was an invaluable resource in getting the Southern sweet tea just right through a taste verification step in the development process," founder and CEO of the company Blodin Ukella said.

George Clooney's tequila, Casamigos

In 2013, George Clooney and his longtime friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman founded the tequila brand Casamigos.

"As you do when you’re in Mexico, you drink a lot of tequila,” Gerber told CNBC in an interview. “After a couple of months trying a lot of different tequilas, George turned to me and said, ‘Why don’t we just make our own? One that’s perfect for us to drink?’”

The tequila and mezcal brand offers liquor as well as a variety of mixers to pair with the products. Casamigos distillery is out of Jalisco, Mexico.

Luke Bryan, Two Lane Lager and Hard Seltzer

In 2020, the country star said he partnered with Constellation Brands to create Two Lane American Golden Lager, a 99-calorie beer with 4.2% alcohol by volume and 3 grams of carbs.

The beer was expected launch in March 2020 before the pandemic forced them to pause production. A year later, the beer, joined by a hard seltzer line, returned to shelves across Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and other parts of the Southeast.

“It’s no secret that I love a good time, and I’m also deeply connected to my roots. Two Lane has found the perfect balance, combining my celebratory approach to life and my connection to home,” Bryan said.
