Skies will be partly sunny to partly cloud with midday and afternoon storms developing inland. Heavy rain, gusty winds, and frequent lightning are the main threats.
Tuesday through Thursday will be the hottest days of the week with temperatures near the mid-90s and a few storms at times.
By Friday, storms become scattered in coverage, which is also likely to knock down temperatures a bit.
TROPICS: A tropical wave is off the coast of West Africa and will move into the Eastern/Central Atlantic this week. Likely our next tropical depression by mid-week.
I am tracking scattered afternoon showers and storms and a tropical wave in the E. Atlantic. See you on @ActionNewsJax This Morning until 9 am!#FirstAlertWX pic.twitter.com/agy7RivryW
