“Got into a heated debate the other night about the state of Michigan’s secondary, with the other side exclaiming that the cornerbacks have been awful. But have they? In my opinion, no — they’ve been good, but not great. Understandably, Michigan has had some good ones come through here in the last few years. But does every position group need to be completely elite?
“Why I think Gemon Green and Vincent Gray have done a good job, and above average job — but not necessarily a great (or elite) job. And why that’s OK. And why things aren’t always binary.
“And why Ohio State, especially this year, shouldn’t be the barometer of how good any secondary is (literally any, given the Buckeyes’ passing attack).”
