Smoke from the fires in the western side of the northern nation will be carried toward the area over the next few days. Air quality locally shouldn't be affected.

Wildfires in Alberta prompted massive evacuations and affected oil production, according to Reuters. There were 90 fires in the province as of Monday afternoon, after more than a week of record-setting hot weather without precipitation.
