The Morning Show’s Reese Witherspoon unveils hair transformation

Reese Witherspoon has debuted a new hairstyle, giving her Instagram followers a sneak peek in a recent post.

The Morning Show star has gone for a subtle hair transformation, keeping her blonde locks but adding a light fringe to her usual do.

The Louisiana-born actress and producer took a selfie posing next to a white magnolia tree and hinting at being in the south of the US.

"I love the South," she wrote in the caption, adding a white heart emoji.

In other personal news, the Big Little Lies protagonist recently announced her divorce from her second husband of 12 years, top talent agent Jim Toth.

The two released a joint statement, asking for privacy for their 10-year-old son Tennessee James and their extended family.

"We have some personal news to share," their statement began. "It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce."

"We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.

"Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."

As for her acting projects, the Oscar winner starred in Netflix rom-com Your Place or Mine opposite Ashton Kutcher. She will return in the role of Bradley Jackson in the third season of The Morning Show, also starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Billy Crudup.

The AppleTV+ newsroom drama has been renewed for a fourth season before the third instalment even announced a release date.

The Morning Show seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Apple TV+. Season 3 is in production.
