This Morning marked a special occasion this weekend, as it aired its first Sunday edition.

This Morning on Sunday, helmed by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, will air for 10 weeks, and features highlight clips from across the week, with this week's first episode including an interview with Love Island's Chris Hughes and his brother Ben following Ben's diagnosis with testicular cancer.

We also got to see an interview with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kevin Clifton, that awkward chat with I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Nick Knowles, as well as a look at a backstage row between Bros members Matt and Luke Goss.

But what the show mainly managed to do was trick a whole lot of viewers into thinking they'd accidentally had a lie-in when they should have been in work:

Along with highlight clips, Eamonn and Ruth were also on hand to host, and this week also featured an interview with MasterChef's John Torode, who showed us how to cook the ultimate Sunday roast.

And while many viewers were loving the chance to catch up on the week's action, all in all it was a bit of a mixed bag as others were a little disappointed not to be getting entirely new content:

This Morning will continue in its usual familiar slot on Monday (January 21) at 10.30am, where the show will see a reunion between Holly Willoughby and John Barrowman after their stint Down Under for I'm A Celebrity at the end of last year.

With Phillip Schofield taking a day off, John will be reuniting with Holly to host an entire edition of This Morning together.

He's promised to "behave" himself, saying: "I’m going to have a lot of fun and I will wear my glasses so I can read the teleprompter!"

This Morning airs on ITV.
