This Morning's Eamonn Holmes unveils lockdown hair transformation on Celebrity Gogglebox
Lockdown haircuts have become commonplace during the coronavirus crisis – and This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes has showcased his on Celebrity Gogglebox, with the stylist (of course) being his co-presenter and partner Ruth Langsford.
The couple may be married, but that doesn't mean Eamonn trusted Ruth to get his barnet right. We get it, it's a lot of power to wield..
"How will you know if I'm doing this properly?" she asked as she gets to grips with the snipping. "Well darling, you'd better be doing it properly," Eamonn replied in a concerned tone.

"I don't know how you normally do it," Ruth then tried to reason. "Well you should, well it's obvious, if it's not flyaway don't touch it. Is it flyaway?"
Ruth then commented on Eamonn's hairy neck and the need for a clipper to sort it out. She reassured him that she was using thinning scissors so she can't cut it too short, but Eamonn didn't look 100% convinced.

Luckily, he got the full salon treatment at the end, with a head massage from Ruth when it was all over.
Celebrity Gogglebox viewers found these efforts amusing, with one tweeting praise for Ruth's bravery: "No way would I cut my husband's hair, would never hear the last of it. If I mucked it up. Even though he's now getting a bit of a mullet."
Meanwhile, another had more sanitary concerns: "Why would you cut hair on the settee?" A fair point, really.
