Morton home #1 with a bullet on Tazewell County's 10 Priciest for June
Usually a mainstay of this monthly round-up, Morton contributed just one address to the 10 most expensive homes sold in Tazewell County for June.
However, that single home was by far the county’s priciest, out-pricing the runner-up by a whopping $425,000.
Washington, another staple on the list, had five homes in the Top 10 last month. Pekin and Tremont rounded out the round-up with two homes each.
10. 1395 Fairfax Ct., Tremont
This three-bedroom, one-bath home was built in 1995 and occupies a 1.2-acre lot. It offers 3,450 square feet of living space. The home was not listed with a realtor and was sold June 2 for $425,000.
9. 104 Pinehurst Ln., Washington
Built in 2010 on a .5-acre lot, this 4,186 square-foot home contains six bedrooms and five baths. The property features professional landscaping, a paver patio, a fire pit, a brick gas log fireplace, and Amish kitchen cabinets.
Listed with Keller Williams Premier Realty, the home was sold June 9 for $435,000.
8. 13399 Oak Lake Ct., Tremont
The amenities for this 4,178 square-foot home begin with a 1.8-acre wooded lot. Other features include an above-ground pool with decking, a fire pit, bamboo hand-scraped flooring, two decks, an outbuilding, and a finished lower level. Built in 2020, the home contains five bedrooms and three baths.
The home was sold June 12 for $440,000 through RE/MAX Traders Unlimited.
7. 301 Saddlerock Dr., Washington
The 2,116 square-foot ranch was built last year on a .3-acre lot. In addition to three bedrooms and two baths, the property offers a decorative glass entry door with sidelights and stone trim, shake shingles, a three-stall garage with carriage doors, quartz kitchen counter tops, and a gas log great room fireplace.

Offering 5,357 square feet of living space, the property features a 3.5-acre wooded lot; Amish kitchen; marble kitchen counter tops; two gas log fireplaces; and a finished basement with a family room, recreation room, and game room.
Listed with RE/MAX Traders Unlimited, the home was sold June 29 for $945,000.
