Moscow man dies in crash south of Pullman
Mar. 27—A 26-year-old Moscow man died Monday night in a vehicle crash on Sand Road south of Pullman.
Whitman County Sheriff's Office Deputies and emergency medical services were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Trystan Ries, 26, of Moscow, was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve.
He lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway into a ditch on the opposite side of the road, rolling several times before coming to a stop, according to the news release.
Deputies believe Ries was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. He was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
