Mystic, Connecticut

Mystic is a town you think only exists in movies. While you stroll down the main road you’ll find ice cream shops, sailboats on the harbor, and a certain pizza shop made famous by Julia Roberts. Known for its famous aquarium, Mystic has great dining options, beautiful waterfront views, and small-town vibes that won’t make you ever want to go back to a big city.

Noank, Connecticut

Noank is a classic New England village and is the less-crowded thank Mystic. the Tree-lined streets and marina views give a quaint feel. This small town has many small shops to do some weekend shopping and is famous for Abbott’s Lobster.

Camden, Maine

According to Town and Country, “Camden is the quintessential Maine getaway but it’s also a fantastic place to live.” The seaport is open all year long. If the seaport isn’t for you, take in a performance at the Camden Opera House, or pick up a great book at the exquisite Camden Public Library

Stockbridge, Massachussetts

Stockbridge is located in Western Mass and is a town inspired by Norman Rockwell’s artwork. Visit the down during the holiday season, the streets are decorated with lights and old fashion decor making it a home-y feel.

Meredith, New Hampshire

Known for Lake Winnipesaukee, this laid-back town is filled with resorts and gives people who live there an excuse to play tourist for a day.

Jamestown, Rhode Island

Just across the bridge from the famous Newport, Jamestown has a down-to-earth feel. With beautiful views of Narragansett Bay, this town has a small community feel wherever you go.

Woodstock, Vermont

This town has attracted shoppers and visitors who want to visit the gorgeous scenery and shop the area’s charming small businesses. This colonial-American town has mossy brick buildings, red barns on rolling green hills, and twinkling creeks that running beneath covered carriage bridges.
