This is the most expensive neighborhood in NC and what it costs to own a home there

A North Carolina mountain community has the priciest homes in the state.

A recent report from CashNetUSA, an online lender, ranked Linville as the most expensive neighborhood in North Carolina, with an average home price of about $3.7 million.

That’s roughly 12 times the cost of the average home in North Carolina, according to Zillow.

The ranking is part of a list of the most expensive neighborhoods in every state based on Zillow data.

To compile the rankings, CashNetUSA used Zillow real estate data to group together neighborhoods of towns and cities in all 50 states. It then calculated the average price in each community by adding house prices in each area and dividing them by the number of properties.
