The most festive dogs of 2018 (for a very good cause)
'Tis the season to don a Christmas jumper and paper hat, and it turns out we're not the only ones getting into the spirit, because Macmillan Cancer Support has just crowned the UK's most festive pet.
The charity asked animal lovers across the country to share snaps of their dogs and cats dressed up for Christmas. The winner will appear on their 2018 charity Christmas card.
They were inundated with adorable entries, from Christmas canines, merry moggies and even Oscar the jumper-wearing goose.
Australian Shepherds, Trust and Chance, from Waterlooville, Hampshire, won over the judges to take the top spot with their reindeer antlers and sweet pose. Their picture now features on a card in Macmillan’s new range of Gifts That Change Lives.
All proceeds raised from the sale of the cards will help Macmillan continue to provide vital services to those living with cancer.
