Most major stores in El Paso will close on Thanksgiving, but get ready for Black Friday
Most major retailers will be closed on Thanksgiving but will open early on Black Friday for the biggest shopping day.
Stores closed will include: Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Kohl's, The Home Depot, Academy, Tuesday Morning, Michael's, Costco and Sam's Club.
Shipping services like USPS, FedEx and UPS also will be closed for Thanksgiving.
Cielo Vista Mall will be closed.
Stores open on Thanksgiving
Cabela's,6450 N. Desert Blvd, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thanksgiving and open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Black Friday.
Also open on Thanksgiving:
CVS: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dollar General: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dollar Tree: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Family Dollar: Varies by location
Five Below: Varies by location
Walgreens: Varies by location
Black Friday store hours
Cielo Vista Mall will be open on Black Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Academy Sports + Outdoors will open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.
Sam's Club will open at 8 a.m. for Plus members, 10 a.m. for general members.
Tuesday Morning stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Black Friday.
Michaels stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
