Finally, I was saddened to learn while on vacation last week that Moody Blues drummer and songwriter Graeme Edge passed away. Graeme and I were neighbors in downtown Bradenton's Point Pleasant neighborhood for a few years and crossed paths occasionally on Old Main Street. I also spent a great afternoon interviewing him over lunch – we both had fish and chips, if memory serves – at the Bradenton Country Club. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues in 2018, Edge's music reached millions of people around the world and he really seemed to love living in Manatee County. He sure will be missed.
