Most St. Cloud-area schools will start two hours late Wednesday

Due to extreme weather conditions, most St. Cloud area schools will start two hours late Wednesday.

Schedules in St. Cloud, Sartell-St. Stephen and Sauk Rapids-Rice as well as Catholic Community Schools are affected.

All St. Cloud public school preschool classes and Kid Connection are canceled. Other early childhood programs are on time.

In the Sartell-St. Stephen district, there will be no breakfast served and morning preschool classes are canceled. ORELC Kidstart will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Kidstop will be open as usual.

In Sauk Rapids-Rice, morning Early Childhood Family Education and school readiness classes are canceled; afternoon and evening classes will take place as scheduled.

Catholic Community Schools that will operate on the two-hour late start are: All Saints Academy, St. Cloud; St. Joseph Catholic School, St. Joseph; St. Francis Xavier School, Sartell; St. Katharine Drexel School, St. Cloud; St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Cloud; St. Wendelin School, St. Augusta/St. Cloud; St. Mary Help of Christians School, St. Augusta; Cathedral Middle School and Cathedral High School, St. Cloud.
