The 2019 Emmy Awards nominations are out — and in addition to their acting chops, many of the nominees are also seriously stylish.

Among the most groundbreaking is Billy Porter. The actor, who’s been nominated in the Lead Actor in a Drama Series category for his work on “Pose,” has made waves for his gender nonconformist red carpet looks. Porter sported a bold tuxedo gown on the red carpet at the 2019 Oscars, and he did it again at the Tonys, wearing a red and pink Celestino Couture dress with hand-painted Orel Brodt shoes.

Meanwhile, Sophie Turner has made headlines both for her style on and off duty, and she serves as muse to Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. The actress is vying for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on “Game of Thrones.”

Awards shows vets Michelle Williams, Amy Adams and Sandra Oh — who all received nods — have repeatedly churned out memorable red carpet looks.
