Mother’s Day 2022 Brunch And Dinner: Reserve Now In Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, CA — Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, is still a few weeks away, but if you plan to treat your mother to brunch or dinner out, reservations may fill up quickly in Palo Alto as the nation approaches the most normal celebration of moms since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Local restaurants in Palo Alto have taken a financial hit during the pandemic and could use the business. Some are closed so their employees can support their own mothers or be pampered by their children, but here are some options:

BUCA DI BEPPO: Takeout packages offered Mother's Day weekend for pick-up or delivery May 6-8. Serving five, to-go special ($65) includes bread and choice of salad & pasta, plus dessert. CORNER BAKERY: On Saturday & Sunday, May 7-8, the matriarchs of your family will recieve complimentary bakery item with purchase of lunch or dinner entrée. FLEMING'S PRIME STEAKHOUSE: Mother's Day special offered May 7-8, with three-course menu featuring salad, dessert and filet mignon paired with choice of crab-stuffed shrimp or lobster tail scampi. MACARTHUR PARK RESTAURANT: Mother's Day brunch & dinner will be hosted at landmark eatery May 8, with brunch 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. & dinner 4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Adults $65; children 6–12 $30; 5 & under free. Service include carving station with prime rib, salmon & pork loin, seafood , salads, breakfast dishes (brunch only) & desserts, plus such dishes as ribs, BBQ chicken, pasta & more. SAJJ MEDITERRANEAN: Kids eat free Mother's Day weekend, Saturday & Sunday, May 7-8, with purchase of entree & drink. WILD ONION BISTRO AT HOTEL CITRINE: Chef Ray Garrow's Mother's Day brunch (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) will feature berry pancakes, custard-dipped, challah French toast with Bailey Irish Creme anglaise and eggs Benedict. Reservations via OpenTable. At 750 San Antonio Road, Palo Alto.
