CALABASAS, CA — Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, is still a few weeks away, but if you plan to treat your mother to brunch or dinner out, reservations may fill up quickly in Calabasas as the nation approaches the most normal celebration of moms since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Local restaurants in Calabasas have taken a financial hit during the pandemic and could use the business. Some are closed so their employees can support their own mothers or be pampered by their children, but here are some options:

  • Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas will host an in-person Mother's Day brunch with the restaurant's full menu and a carry-out Mother's Day special available for pickup after 2 p.m. Make a reservation on Marmalade Cafe's website.

  • CPK Calabasas will have heart-shaped, crispy thin crust pizzas for dine in only on May 8.

  • Saddle Peak Lodge in Calabasas will host a Mother's Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for $98 per adult and $65 for kids under 12. Make a reservation on the restaurant's website.
