For Mother’s Day, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro Witney Carson became a mom again
Mother’s Day 2023 was extra special for Whit Carson and her growing family.
The “Dancing with the Stars” pro took the “mom-entous” day to share the news that she gave early birth to her second child with husband Carson McAllister.
“My boys, could there be a better Mother’s Day gift?? We are on cloud nine and soaking in every second,” she wrote about the newly formed clan of four on Instagram Sunday.
After her delivery, Carson posted to her Instagram Story that the new bundle of joy was “doing great” and she was celebrating with sushi. “Thank you for checking in on us. More updates soon.”
On Monday, the hoofer offered up more candid details of the childbirth.
“Jet Carson McAllister … decided to join us two weeks early on May 13th at 9:21pm, just in time for Mothers Day,” she captioned a photo carousel of the newborn. “Our hearts have doubled in size for our Jetty boy. He’s the most perfect addition to our family and has already given us so much joy! We love you baby boy.”
During the live semifinals of season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars,” the 29-year-old Utah native revealed she was pregnant. She competed alongside Wayne Brady for the Mirror Ball trophy, ultimately coming in third place.
Carson, who previously won “Dancing with the Stars” with current co-host Alfonso Ribiero during season 19, hasn’t announced how soon she will return to work. Following her last pregnancy, she hit the dance floor four months after son Leon was born in January 2021.
