So far 2022 has offered holidays that feel a little more normal than they have in the past two years. Not only are patrons excited to get back to some form of normalcy and enjoy eating out again, but restaurant owners and staff are thrilled to welcome them back.
“Writing and executing menus are one of my passions, so I am excited to see what the summer brings, and look forward to returning guests,'' said Josh Keating, executive chef at 1937 Brewing Co.
"Obviously, many have dealt with the past few years differently, and I believe we will see that reflected in guest behavior. It is our job to make each person feel comfortable and deliver an excellent dining experience,” says Keating.
Along with warmer weather, Mother's Day also means some delicious spring ingredients people have missed since last year.
“Being a New Jersey native, I long for the return of white corn and beefsteak tomatoes!
We try to incorporate as many local ingredients as we can in our offerings,” says Keating.

At Columbus Inn, you can expect just that or a family-style dinner if that’s what your mother prefers.

A Mother’s Day brunch and dinner will be held at Concordville Inn on the holiday.
The inn offers an a la carte option, buffet option, and take-out option.
A la carte brunch will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner will start soon after at 3:30 p.m. and go til 8.
Some items on the menu include crispy calamari, prime rib sandwich, chicken piccata, and seafood scampi, as well as many other options. There also are vegetarian dishes as well as a children’s menu.
The Mother’s Day brunch buffet will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seating is limited so make reservations as soon as possible. The buffet cost is $49.95 for adults; $24.95 for children ages 3 to 10.
The buffet menu include an omelet station, eggs Benedict, crème brûlée, French toast, and much more.
Take out can be picked up Saturday May 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. or Sunday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some of those items include a whole turkey, shrimp bisque and maple-
glazed sweet potatoes, and much more.
