Make your brunch reservation, catch a trolley or head to the mall for yoga with ... goats? That's right. Here are things to do and places to eat this Mother's Day weekend, May 13-14, in Northern Colorado.

Austin's is serving up a special Mother's Day brunch at both of its Fort Collins locations, featuring a breakfast burrito, French toast, classic breakfast plate and prime rib. Felling a French bistro this Mother's Day? Hit up Bistro Nautile's annual Mother's Day brunch, which boasts a menu full of a la carte options for seafood lovers plus soups, salads and some sweet and savory entrée options. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 970-224-1188 or visiting resy.com.

The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm, 1957 Jessup Drive

Enjoy all the mimosas and farmhouse charm at Jessup Farm's popular brunch stop. The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm is serving up a special Mother's Day brunch buffet, featuring bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. The buffet costs $50 per adult and $12 for children age 12 and younger. Mocktails and a meal for mom? That's what's on tap at FoCo Cafe. Ride the trolley

Where: Old Town Fort Collins

When: Noon to 5 p.m. May 14

Take a trip down memory lane with mom on Fort Collins' pair of historic streetcars. Birney Cars 21 and 25 will return for a new season May 6 and, per tradition, will shuttle moms for free on Mother's Day. The trolleys depart from the City Park Depot, 1501 W. Oak St., every 30 minutes. Typical fares are $2 for adults and $1 for seniors and children ages 3-12.

Face Vocal Band's Mother's Day concert

Where: The Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.

When: 2 p.m. May 14

Start Mother's Day with brunch and continue the fun with Face Vocal Band's Mother's Day concert at the Lincoln Center. The Boulder-based all-vocal rock band is known for blending popular tunes with complex harmonies, beat-box rhythms and singing, according to the Lincoln Center. Tickets for the show range from $20 to $30 and can be purchased at lctix.com.

Mother's Day at Foothills mall

When: 9 a.m. to noon May 14

Where: Foothills mall, 215 E. Foothills Parkway

From goat yoga to permanent jewelry, options abound at Foothills mall this Mother's Day. The shopping center's events begin at 9 a.m. with two 45-minute goat yoga lessons hosted by Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga. The sessions will be at 9 and 11 a.m. with a 15-minute decompression period planned after each class. Registration is required. From 10 a.m. to noon, CoCo Linked will also be at the mall to offer "mom and me" permanent jewelry. Maurice's will be set up with a Mother's Day photo booth, sweet treats and single-stem flowers. Yoga at The OBC Wine Project

Where: The OBC Wine Project, 824 E. Lincoln Ave.

Kick off Mother's Day weekend with a little namaste and rosé at The OBC Wine Project. The Fort Collins wine tasting room will host the Saturday morning yoga class followed by a glass of one of its draft wines. Tickets are $23 and available at theobcwineproject.com.

A bouquet class

When: 6 p.m. May 11

Where: OBC Wine Project

While not quite part of Mother's Day weekend, CC's Flowers is hosting a bouquet class just before. Get yourself and your mom a ticket so you can learn the basics of floral arranging and leave with a custom vased bouquet. A Mother's Day tour of Treasure Island

When: 1:30-3:30 p.m. May 14

Where: Treasure Island Garden, Windsor

If your mom is a gardener, take her for a tour of Windsor's Treasure Island demonstration garden to catch some early spring blooms. The garden, located near Lake Laku along the Poudre River Trail, is open for free educational tours from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. this Mother's Day. This is a drop-in event, and reservations are not required. The Treasure Island tour is wheelchair accessible.

A Water Works walk-through

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 13

Where: Historic Water Works property, 2005 N. Overland Trail

If your mom is a history buff, consider stopping by Fort Collins' historic 1883 Water Works pumphouse and property. The property is a blast from the past, showcasing the city's first public works site and how it provided water to fight fires and supplied homes with safer drinking water, reducing waterborne illnesses in early Fort Collins, according to Poudre Landmarks Foundation. This historic site will open its doors for an open house on Mother's Day weekend. Admission is free, and no reservations are required.

A Mother's Day 5K

When: 9 a.m. May 13

Where: Lesher Middle School, 1400 Stover St.

Enjoy the great outdoors at this year's Mother's Day 5K run/walk presented by Lesher Middle School. The race, which starts at 9 a.m., will take runners around the University Acres neighborhood and Colorado State University's annual trial garden. It will also feature free food, music and gifts for moms. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for Poudre School District students. For more information, or to sign up, visit the race website.
