Motorcycle driver dies after crash in Allegan County's Manlius Township

MANLIUS TWP. — A Hamilton man died Wednesday afternoon after the motorcycle he was operating crashed in Manlius Township.

At about 12:20 p.m. May 11, the Allegan County Sheriff's Office responded to 58th Street near 130th Avenue. A witness told police the motorcycle was traveling northbound on 58th Street and failed to navigate the curve near 130th Avenue and crashed.

Preliminary investigation showed that the driver, 66-year-old Randy Billerbeck might have suffered from a medical issue that caused the crash.

The crash is under investigation. The sheriff’s office was assisted on scene from Life EMS, Fennville and Hamilton fire departments, Michigan State Police and Fennville City Police.
