Motorcyclist injured in wreck with car

Feb. 24—HIGH POINT — A motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a car in north High Point Thursday night.

The wreck happened just before 6:45 p.m. at Meadowlark Road and Eastchester Drive, according to the High Point Police Department. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries not considered to be life-threatening, while the driver of the car had undetermined injuries.

The motorcyclist was cited for multiple traffic offenses including running a red light, according to police.
