Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle crash in Warren County

A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Wayne Township in Warren County on Thursday night.

James Dobbins, 23, was killed on Ohio 73 just after 9:40 p.m., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Lebanon post.

Dobbins, of Springboro, was operating a 2007 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle traveling west on Ohio 73 at the time of the crash. A 2008 Chevrolet HHR turned west onto Ohio 73 from Carter Drive. Dobbins struck the left rear of the Chevrolet and traveled over the centerline, according to OSP. There the motorcycle was struck head-on by an oncoming 2023 Jeep Wagoneer that was traveling east, according to OSP.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Joshua Johnson, 26, of Lebanon, and the driver of the Jeep, James Cramton, 44, ofBlanchester, were not injured.
