One man was killed and a second was injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday night in Arcadia, Wayne County.
According a news release from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Derick Haak, 38, of Ontario, Wayne County was driving a motorcycle north on Route 88 near Chapel Road around 8 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle and drove into a ditch. The motorcycle then struck a parked vehicle, a mailbox and a tree.
A second motorcyclist - Mark Fisher, 39, of Sodus, Wayne County - was also driving north on Route 88 and crashed a short distance down the road, deputies said. Fisher was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. His medical status was not available.
Deputies continue to investigate the crash.
