Mount Union features 'Pencil and Paint' display in Beeghly Hall
ALLIANCE – University of Mount Union has kicked off 2023 with an exhibit called “Pencil and Paint,” featuring works by Jack Thomas Hamilton, in the Beeghly Hall Galleries on the university’s campus.
Hamilton, an Ohio native, is a graduate of Cooper School of Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. He specializes in two-dimensional fine art practices and creates his works using the medium of ebony pencils and enamel. His body of work ranges from works created in the 1970s to today.
The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will run through May. An artist’s reception will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 20 in the Beeghly Hall Galleries. For more information, contact Mike Schmidt at schmidmi@mountunion.edu.
