Mount Union plans musical shows during December

ALLIANCE – University of Mount Union will host various visual and performing arts events in December.

Dec. 1 – The Raider Steel Band will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall. The group will perform works by Bob Marley, Tom Miller, Ras Shorty and John Willmarth.

Dec. 4 – Mount Union Alliance Chorale will present its fall concert, entitled “Sounds of Christmas,” at 3 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall. Tickets are $8 and free for all children, students and Mount Union faculty. Student and child tickets must be ordered in person or by phone at 330-821-2565. Tickets are also available online at mountunion.edu/boxoffice.

Dec. 4 – A Musical Theatre Workshop will be held at 7 p.m. in the Gallaher Black Box Theatre.

Dec. 8-10 – The Christmas Festival, entitled “Shalom” will be held in the Brush Performance Hall. Thursday’s show begins at 11:15 a.m., and Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free, but are required by visiting mountunion.edu/boxoffice or calling the Box Office at 330-821-2565.

All events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
