Mount Vernon man sentenced to prison for sexual conduct with child

A Mount Vernon man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for repeated sexual conduct with a child.

The child was 11 when Brandon David began the abuse, which occurred between August 2018 and August 2020, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office said.

Mount Vernon police arrested David, 39, on March 26, 2022. He pleaded guilty in July to first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.

Westchester County Court Judge Susan Cacace sentenced David on Tuesday. He was also given 15 years of post-release supervision and he must register as a sex offender after his sentence.
